I haven't updated this journal for quite awhile now, so I figured I could write a couple of lines to tell you what I am up to. I sincerely hope you liked my last piece, The dance of the elements. Whether you like it or not this will probably be the last of me for the next couple of weeks. Truth is I am graduating from high school and my final exams will be under way just after 2 weeks. Moreover, I am applying to a couple of art universities here in Bulgaria. Competition is tough as hell, having in mind that every second student paid his way to get in campus. I am working very hard on the matter, I have something like 40 portraits (full body and face) in my room - some finished, some not. It was quite a journey for now. I took the decision to start working seriously (as cliche as it may sound) on New Years eve. Time flew by in the blink of an eye, and there are exactly 2 months until my first exam. It may seem plenty of time to you, to me its not that much. Maybe I'll post some traditional drawings and my first painting made with gouache.

So it's like that: hard work and dedication, and a good team . Everything else is not worth a thought.
